Hi All,

We are based in Canada with products priced in USD. We would like to get USD into our USD account in Canada, and CAD into our Canadian Account. Only solution found so far on the forums is to have two separate gateways with two merchant accounts. (Currently using Authorize.net with our ZenCart v 1.3.7, with manual conversion from USD to CAD, or CAD directly charged). We can sign up for another Merchant and Gateway, but the problem is how will Zencart handle two payment gateways?

  1. We would like ZenCart to handle transaction in a way that if the transaction currency is USD use Gateway1; if transaction is in CAD use Gateway2. Is that possible?
  2. We are considering BeanStream, not sure how good or problematic is it going to be. Any recommendations / personal experience would be appreciated.
  3. Any coding samples, or guidance would be appreciated (starting from the file names that require changes)
  4. We have been informed ZenCart is releasing some kind of patch/add-on for this functionality. Any news on that?

I did not explain ‘why’ we need this as its going to become another discussion which may not be relevant. The point is we need this functionality and your help :-)
