New template download

I downloaded a new template and uploaded into my Custom folder, however it doesn't seem to work, can anyone help?

Did you go to your admin section and select the template?

I did and when i update this is the message i get
"The requested URL /includes/templates/CUSTOM/images/scr_template_default.jpg was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
