Turn off Required information/Registration Log In

Hi,

I would remove the required information for registration of a new user.
I use ZenCart to make sales statistics, some required informations are too personal to justify their presence in the registration ... in a first time. I want to keep these lignes to have maximum information on a future client without obligation if they do not want to give me all.

How can I remove some obligation of required information?

1. set to false, the ones you dont want to use

1. make sure to set to 0 the ones you don't want to use

I tried all possibilities, nothing does...all the lines stay in place regardless configuration of Customers details and min values.

In fact, I do not want to remove some choice, I want it to be free.
If a person does not want to give me his phone number, he may still register.
At the moment, there is the obligation to fulfill all the information, I dont want that.

To not require date of birth for example, you must set the minimum value to a blank i.e. a blank space.

OK, it's works well, and I understand what you wrote.

I can remove Company Details, Fax Number, Verify Your Age...

but Address Details, Additional Contact Details stay static whatever possible configurations. Nothing moves in these blocks.
I want to remove some options on bloc "Address Details" and complet remove Additional Contact Details.
I can't find this way
Is this a problem ZenCart version, an option not possible?

I think that there is no options on these block ( Address Details and Additional Contact Details ) because the function of ZenCart is to sell, so it is necessary to have this full information.

As I use ZenCart to generate statistics (not for sale), It's may be I'm alone to ask this configuration.
Only required information to create account with email and password.

So I think the solution is to modify the folder login.php

I believe there is a mod in the free software add ons, that will allow you to select only the information you need..

I was a headache of this problem ... now resolved

I downloaded the link and installed. In fact this is not an automatic setup, I have to exchange files indicated ... in place of those already installed ( make backup if you do not want this solution and return back... if someone follow this way )
Then I change a few lines in commenting /*...*/ to remove the "Required Information" on box "Contact Details"

end finish!!
