    Default Text attribute box is too long in IE

    Bonjour, all.

    I have one text attribute properly set up and the only issue is that, in IE, the width of the box goes to the edge of the page while it looks much nicer in FF being considerably narrower.

    In Option Names, the Display Size is 32. I played around with it but nothing changed (as well as max input, which is 150), read some posts and don't know what else to try to make it as in FF. Any ideas, please?

    I got a new computer and, in IE 8, the box is smaller like the others. So I guess that was an issue with the old IE.

    Or not! The issue suddenly and somehow returned to IE8. I know I wasn't dreaming before because I check certain changes to the site in all browsers and noticed the box was smaller in IE8...till now. I don't know if it's something in the code for that page (tpl_products_info_display.php) or something I did in IE settings (don't recall doing anything special).

    Stupid IE...

    My Firefox and IE8 show your text box OK, while IE7 is stretching it to the right hand side...

    It appears that the textarea in IE7 is preferring the CSS width setting of 95% that you have in your stylesheet, over the cols=32 setting you have in html...

    textarea.attribsTextarea {width:auto;}

    as a last resort you could give the above width statement a pixel value...(300px) to see if that works...

    for some reason, you site seams to freeze my IE developers toolbar.... so I cannot give a better answer at the moment...

    Even weirder, I checked IE8 today for the first time since my last post and the text box was again normal size.

    I changed the stylesheet to px (didn't even know to look there) and I'm sure that'll make it consistent...at least until next week!

    Thanks!
