    Default Main Page Flash Player

    My site is http://OutdoorsInteriors.com I'm hoping some of the experts can help here. On my main page to the right of the DHL logo I have a big white space. What I'd like to do is put a flash player in there to alternate between 3 images. I have no idea how to do this and will need detailed specifics. I really appreciate the help.

    Thanks

    Thanks for responding. I've gone through most of the threads on flash to no avail. This link was the most helpful. http://www.w3schools.com/flash/flash_howto.asp The one thing that link tells you which no one on the forum here does, is that you have to first ceate your flash file which has the file extension .swf I'm just trying to take 3 JPG images and create a very simple flash alternating between them.

    I've used an inexpensive program called Amara Slideshow Builder to make banners and slideshow sideboxes. Don't know why it wouldn't work for you.

    It creates both .swf file and the html code. I haven't done it, but you can add sound also.

    Here is some sample html code that it creates:

    <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
    width="290" height="290">
    <param name="movie" value="#SAVE AS SWF FILE FIRST#">
    <param name="menu" value="false">
    <param name="quality" value="high">
    <param name="wmode" value="opaque">
    <param name="scale" value="noscale">
    <embed src="#SAVE AS SWF FILE FIRST#" menu="false" quality="high" wmode="opaque"
    scale="noscale" width=290 height=290 type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
    pluginspace="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash">
    </embed>
    </object>

    Should be able to paste the html into your main page - just change the .swf file location to where ever you upload it to.

    Cost $29.95 available at amarasoftware.com. There is a trial version to try out but it doesn't create any code.

    Cheers
