1030 Got error 28 from storage engine in ...

I get this error this morning:

1030 Got error 28 from storage engine
in:
[show fields from catalog_paypal]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I go to "Admin Home" --> the box under "Orders" I click "Processing" --> I see 2 orders, so in the box on the right I click the bottom "edit" button to get the order details and the above error pops up.

I did a search but don't see what I need.

A quick google search reveals:
Error code 28: No space left on device

... ie: your hosting account is out of disk space or has attempted to use more than it is allowed.
Or else the server itself has physically run out of space ... which would be very bad.

Okay... I'll let them know. Actually I already submitted the ticket. I'll see what happens and take it from there.

You could start by reviewing all the files on your server, especially the larger ones, and removing any that don't need to be there, such as zipped backups that you've already downloaded, etc.

I do realize that it's a database error on my host part, but just want to know if it's something I can handle through the catalog itself.

I can't even log into the MySQL database because it's not recognizing my username / password combo though.
