    Default Design layout wrong in Firefox

    Just thought id check my new header in bodykits online .co.uk/test using firefox and it shows completely wrong, but is spot on using IE.

    What code do i have to change to get it to show correctly in both IE and Firefox.

    Thanks
    Ben

    A quick update, i have just installed a firefox update and the header is looking better, but not quite there.

    The main thing is the background image not showing through, and when parts are added to the shopping basket the top links of the header and cart drop below the logo.

    I recommend running your site through a validator. It has a number of structural problems - not serious ones, if caught and dealt with now - that mean that the site is broken in FF and IE, you're just finding how IE deals with the fallout a bit more acceptable than FF's attempt.

    I used W3C to validate the site, i have attempted to fix some errors and now have got myself in a right muddle.
    The main code that im stuck with is for the shopping cart in the header, i used this code originally which works in IE not Firefox

    <ul class="forward"><div id="cart"><div class="cart_all"><div class="cart_header"></div><div><img src=http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test...s/cart_top.jpg border="0" /> <div id="navMainCartSummary"><?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . 'sideboxes/cart_summary.php'); ?></div><br><a href="http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test/index.php?main_page=shopping_cart"><img src=http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test/includes/templates/custom/images/button_view.jpg border="0" /></a> <a href="http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test/index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping"><img src=http://www.bodykitsonline.co.uk/test/includes/templates/custom/images/button_checkout.jpg border="0" /></a></div><br class="clearBoth" /></div></div><div></div><div></div>
    </ul>

    Ive started deleting parts of the code which have errors showing in the validator but that seems to of made things worse.

    That code is very badly structured. UL tags should contain LIs not DIVs and you have several DIVs which are opened and closed with no content, adding nothing but obscuring the underlying structure.
