Default Daylight Saving Time (Summer Time)

    Hi,

Is there any way to set the time zone within Zen-Cart, or is it controlled by the server?

The UK moved to summer time yesterday GMT+1 and the time stamp has not changed in Zen-Cart.

    Thanks.

    This is server time
You might employ a module for time zone offset

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

Yes, i saw that module in another thread for a similar problem.

However, i'm keen to find out what is causing this problem, rather than manually applying an override to the problem.

As stated this is not a "problem" - ZenCart draws upon SERVER time, so unless you have access to the server settings or can ask your host to alter it the offset is the only other solution

    Hi there,

OK great thanks. Sorry if i wasn't very clear, but that is what i was originally asking. If it is controlled by the server, or within ZC. My use of the term problem was also meant to infer 'enigma' rather than a difficulty.

I've also just noticed that i didn't read your first reply very well! My bad!

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

Just found out that the server is running UTC - is Zen-Cart able to recognise this and adjust for DST automatically, or do i need to install the mod?

    Thanks.
