Is this even Possible

I want to Put in an ul instead of a Logo.gif then I would like to substitute the tabs for my tabs.

Check in the Free Software Add Ons section (link, top-left) searching for Menu. You'll find a few add-ons which let you set this up. No use reinventing the wheel. ;-)
