Recurring Monthly Payments with BluePay

A client of mine got setup with Bluepay and they told him that ZenCart was the best shopping cart for doing recurring payments. So, I started setting up his shopping cart and when I called BluePay to finalize the payment processing, they told me it was easiest to have the recurring payments setup with the payment processor rather than in ZenCart. To me this sounded like a better idea because it takes away the majority of the security issues, but my client didn't like this idea because it required some human interaction after a purchase to mark it as a recurring bill. So he called BluePay and they told him the opposite of what I was told, and said ZenCart was real easy to setup for recurring billing. I've been searching through forums all day and cannot still come up with a solid way of achieving recurring monthly billing. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Zen Cart is not designed for recurring billing

Thats what I've told my client but his BluePay reps continue to tell him that this can be accomplished with 3rd party modules. I have yet to find anyone(especially the bluepay reps) who can lead me in the direction of these modules capable of this.

Thanks for the reply on this issue. My client is currently working with BluePay to find a means of achieving recurring billing. If anyone else has any insight, thank you in advance.
