Cant Select ZenCart in JAM

I have posted on the JROX-JAM site as well but thought that I would see if anyone else has had this issue on this side.

Install seems to go well, I went into settings then the intergration settings and selected ZENCART and put in 2 required variables at the top according to the "Zen cart Ingration" guide and then when i save i get error 500.

This is the message out of the error log on my server:

[Sun Apr 05 17:21:01 2009] [error] [client 0.0.0.0] File does not exist: /home/usr/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://www.domain.com/jamaffiliates/...t_type=ZenCart

I cant find this anywhere, Can someone help?

If the problem you're having is in using the JAM admin interface, then the answer to your question is best handled on the JAM support site.


It's worth noting that "500" errors are usually a result of trying to do something that's being disallowed due to server security rules, usually undesired parameters on the URL. The exact reason "why" will be detailed in your server's apache errorlog, which you might be able to read in your hosting control panel, or contact your hosting company for the info. Then work with your hosting company to either disable to rule or find a workaround to it. They might suggest that you add something to your .htaccess file to turn off mod_security on certain pages, if their server rules allow you to do so. Be sure to ask them about it.

That is why I said I was looking if anyone else has had this issue, everything else works just not the zen, I did post in the JAM forums but appearently they done know either, as far as the server permissions I check all of those as it is a dedicated server.

So after having the people at JAM login to my server and install they tell me that mod_security is enabled but it shouldnt matter because selecting the intergration is just an instruction set and does nothing else.

If you continue to get the error message, then as I mentioned in my last post, you'll need to contact your hosting company for assistance.
