Edit your includes/configure.php file and admin/includes/configure.php files to change the DB_PREFIX to 'zen_' and the new tables will be ignored in favor of the old ones.
I'm wondering though whether you have completed the upgrade process, since if your new site hasn't accessed the old tables, they probably haven't been upgraded.
