    Default Product Question

I want to automate my selling of domain names, but obviously the domain name that people want is different everytime.

once a person has completed a whois look up and is presented with a list of domains that are available, how can i add those domains to the cart.

I suppose what i a asking is will Zen-cart create on the fly products, or does anyone know another solution.

    thanks

Maybe I'm missing sth, but isn't it just enough to add every domain name as a product and set the stock to 1, so that when smb buys it, it is listed as *sold out*?

Hmy... So basically tall of your clients will be all adding the same product, the only thing that will change is domain name, is that right?
If you create appropriate product type and add the *availability checker* to the product page - I think that could work, some coding required though to assign chosen domain name to the appropriate order..
Or - there is an option *text* in the attributes. If you add that attribute to the product and require the clients to paste their chosen domain name to the text window, you may know which domain they bought in that way. From the other hand, this may be confusing: if they provide you with the wrong domain name, it may be difficult to straighten things out and figure out which name it wad indeed.
It depends on what matter in your case in terms of pricing..
