    Default Creating Input Forms

Hello. I have already created a ZenCart shop and now I'm looking to create a second one for a new client. She wants to sell personalized greeting cards so she needs to have forms for people to input what they want on the card. Can this be done in Zen Cart? If so, can someone tell me how? I know how to write HTML for the code, I guess I'm just looking for the best way to put it into Zen Cart.

    Thanks!

While forms might be nice, stating this as a "need" is a bit long.
ZenCart has the ability to setup an attribute to enter text and sttributes can also handle other options.

ZC product info pages already have forms... they're called "attributes" ;)

In your admin area, go to Catalogue, then select Option Name Manager.

Input a name for your attribute, then select Text from the dropdown menu next to it. You can also select how many characters to allow when you go back and edit it.

Once you have created an attribute name, go back to Catalogue and find a product you want to add the text box to. Do not click on the product - click the "A" for attributes on the far right of your product.

    Click Attribute Controller.

Add a New Attribute by selecting your option name, then the option value of Text.
If you want to add to your base price if customers write a message, then fill in the Price area, etc. You will learn that as you experiment.
Click Insert, and you will now see the text box when you check your product in your store.
