Regularly import entire catalog?

Hello. I am trying to determine if ZenCart is the right application for my store.

Currently I work with a brick-and-mortar retail store which has an internal point-of-sale system. That system is rather limited, yet changing it is not currently practical.

I do not need or want to tightly integrate the POS with ZenCart. Instead, I just want to regularly dump the entire contents of the POS inventory into ZenCart; over-writing (or first deleting) the current inventory.

Is that possible?
