Default index.php not being picked up

    Hi,

I have a problem in that I my index.php file is not being picked up under my main zencart directory. I have changed the folder name from zencart to shop. But I have to put in the full URL otherwise I get a listing of my index files.
probably easier to explain with URL to my site (Please note this is an ANn SUmmers site - which contains some saucy items - but this is a high street chain - I have built this for a lady sho is a reseller).

I have had to set up a directory index to point from the main domain name http://www.annsummersinireland.co.uk to http://www.annsummersinireland.co.uk/shop/index.php which I thought got me round the problem. Howvere I have just noticed that if you click on 'Home' in the breadcrumb or on the main header image the URl point s to http://www.annsummersinireland.co.uk/shop/ and I get my list of files.

    please can anyone help.

    Thanks
    Liz

It looks like you need to speak to your hosting provider about why your site cannot recognize standard file names such as:
    index.php

    It should auto load ...
