Some Help

Hi All,
Firstly Sorry To Mods if I have posted this to wrong forum. But I wasn't sure where to put it.

I have a few issues, that I need to get some help with (and my php coding is not good).

I trying to help my father setup a vinyl record store.

Zen Cart is the best we have found so far, but need to be able to add and search on these fields.

ARTIST (Already Available)
TITLE (Already Available)
FORMAT (is category)
LABEL (needed)
CONDTION (needed)
YEAR (need)
CAT. NUMBER (is their as Products Model < just need renamimg)
OTHER INFO : (is Products Description:)

Is there anyone out there can help me make a few modifications..

The 2nd problem is we have all this data in an excel file, and need a quick way of importing Artist, Labels, ect from this file.

Use admin>tools>Developers Tool Kit to look up the phrases you want to replace. It will tell you what files they're defined in. You can then edit those files and save them to your override (custom template) folder.

Take a look at http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=395 to import your data from Excel.

So using the DTK, I can add fields, search from main page on fields etc.

So Far I have found zen to be very good, but its looks like I have hit a similar issue that I had with os, and that is not having enough fields for what I need.. (at least you have artist, Record companies, and Music Genre, even if you can't search on these fields).

Again I think you for you time and effort in helping me.
