    Default Lost my categories on main pages

    Hi all, I am new here and wonder if anyone can help out at all. We are using Zen Cart and everything has been fine. We have listed a few categories with products in each category with no problems. The problem has occured when someone changed the template, for some unknown reason we now can't see the categories or obviously the products within these categories. So our website is useless. In the Admin setting all the categories are there and turned on, but they just don't appear on the webiste. www.havaianasflipflops.co.uk Can anyone please help me, I am tearing my hair out trying to fix this problem. Many thanks in advance.

    By "changed the template" do you mean "made alterations to the template you were using"? Or did a different template get installed?

    If your template was altered, you would need to revert to a backup from just before the changes were done. If you don't have backups, your host should - some will make a backup every day. You probably want only the files reverted, not the database, so you don't lose any customer info that may have been entered since then.

    Ask your partner's son what he did, and if he saved any unmodified copies of files.

    More than the CSS was altered, because the stylesheet could not cause the page output to terminate in the middle. This is what is being output in view source:
    HTML Code:
    ...
    <p><strong><font face="tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif">We are currently replenishing our stock, so if there is something you want, but is not currently on our website, please email us and we will do our best to supply on demand.</font></strong></p></div>

    <!-- BOF: Display grid of available sub-categories, if any -->
    <!-- EOF: Display grid of available sub-categories -->

    <!-- bof: featured products  -->
    <!-- eof: featured products  -->
    There is nothing after this, not even </body> or </html>.
    What is supposed to come next in the output? That would be a good place to look for the problem.
