HELP with Search Box

Hi I'm about to start a website build for a car supermarket and they require a small search box on every page. The search terms will be as follows:

Car Make

Car Model

Car Price (Min)

Car Price (Max)

I've been told this can be done and I can this be put on every page in a sidebox. However I wondered if somebody could give me some help or some pointers for how I go about implenting this.

Do a few searches on the existing side box using non-existent terms so that no products are found and look at the URL that appears in the address bar. Basically you will want to build a form in a sidebox to pass a similar string.

Your only complexity is likely to be the model numbers. You don't say how you are recording this in the database, but you will most liekly need to tweak the search page's search algorithm to include it.

Hi Thanks for this, would it be easier for me to just use the 'search keywords' text box in advanced search then for the models?
