How i use SSL in my website?

I want to use SSL in my website , i am using Powweb hosting , i use or turn on it, Please reply

The best way to do this is to ask your host. They will usually set it up for you.

did you buy a certificate from any issuer ? or are you planning on using shared SSL ?

better buy one .. , once your SSL is issued to you , your host can set that up in no time .

thanks for comments. my hosting just providing shared SSL. and do not dedicated and external. and they are saying i do not need any kind of ssl, they have secure servers so nobody can hack, my hosting, ftp and my website zencart admin page.

until this thread has been moved to right location ...here are my thoughts.
nothing in this world is secure .. my debit card was cloned twice by using the physical terminal in busy mall , they managed to switch terminal with one that was modified to transmit all info to a computer near by .

I will never buy products from a site that is on shared SSL . reason being .. if you buy your own SSL , then you have to supply all the information about your business to the SSL issuer .. they will need to verify .. your business name and registration , phone number, address , etc..
this will tell me , at least you and your business is legit . ( maybe , maybe not ) .

if you are serious about doing online business .. you need a system that is safe . you got that already ( zen cart ) .
you need a host that can understand your needs .. ( certified zen cart host , can be found on the tool bar )
you need merchant account to process Credit card . thus your host needs to be PCI compliant ( certified host ) .

THats great tips, thanks for that. yesterday and today. i have talked with 7 Powweb live support peoples, they said . there is no problem about hacking your website and Zencart admin are safe, and said we have safest servers on the net. they said to me, you dont need any SSL. and about "Concerns About Hack Attempts"? i have read that topic and done all the steps that they have said to me, and Powweb is making My website and there databases backups for three days.
