weight showing heavier

hi i have looked and looked and still i can't see the answer

i have zencart 1.3.8a fresh install only changed zones and shipping modules

some of my items weigh less than 1kg so i have been adding 0.4 or 0.1 but i have a couple of products that are only 50g

so i would like to know how to add the 50g to the weights without the database throwing a fit

nevermind i fixed it, i just had to add an extra 0
