Is it possible to have customers enter in the amount they will be paying.
I offer a service rather than a product. Customers will have an invoice already and I would like them to be able to come to my site and pay the amount listed on the invoice.

This can be done by creating a product with a price of $1 and then relabelling the quantity field for that product to encourage the customer to "buy" the right number of $1s.

Net,
Something like this:
http://www. netzencommerce.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=2

@haredo
27 sounds a bit excessive. Couldn't you just create a new product type, admin maintenance screens and product template?

@Kuroi,
I am always looking for a easier way to design a cart for a client.
If I remember,
alt tags were changed, check out process all three files, welcome email, admin core edit files were changed,
- I was guessing 27 .php files
- Maybe it was 17 or so.
- I would half to get out my notes on this one
- Explain in a little more detail on your step please if you have time...

Exactly like what kuroi said, keep it simple.
Use the quantity field. If you want it to go to cent, you can tweak it a bit, perhaps using attribute here.
I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
@haredo
I suspect that many of the 27 changes were to turn off other cart functionality on that particular site, rather than to enable this particular function. That would explain the apparently high number.
@yellow1912
If it's a recent version of Zen Cart, the product quantity field int he orders table is a float, so cents can be put straight in there. It wasn't always so however, I seem to remember that it was still an integer in some of the earlier versions of Zen Cart's 1.3 series.
