Security Box continually appears during Check OUt

I am using IE7 on a Vista client. During the order checkout process, I continually get the pop up box “This page contains both secure and nonsecure items”. “Do you want to display the nonsecure items?”

Is there anyway to Stop this box from continually appearing during the checkout process? I can see how it can scare away customers.

you may have a hard coded link HTTP in your site . maybe a link that points to a image ?
all secure content needs to have HTTPS ..

It happens when visitor goe sinto Checkout Cart. URL cahnges to https;//. There must be a way to stop this box form poping up with each step of the checkout process. It is very annoying. When I order from Amazon I am in a https://, I NEVER get these "ominous warning" and obnoxious pop up boxes.

As tony mentioned - are there any images on that page linked to http and not https?

Oh Yes, sorry about the missing link....

If you start to order a product when you get into the checkout cart you will see the switch to https://. I don't think any new images load inthe checkout cart

i don't have to go to check out to see that message , if you click on login you will see the same message .

you have the image ( banner ) that is HTTP also you have social book mark that is HTTP ..

since you are using absolute path using HTTP in secure pages , you get this warning box showing up .

Yes, eliminate unnecessary distractions during your checkout process. Why would you wish someone to bookmark your checkout?

I wouldn't recommend having the banner on the login page either but if you choose to leave it there you can add it to a secure connection. Also Why do you want your customers to bookmark your login page on social bookmark sites. That doesn't make sense. I think this function should be on the product info page and maybe the home page, but if you choose to use it, the addthis.com offer a secure version of this script that you can use.
