restoring database from zen cart files?

I just made a huge misstake My fat fingers manged to delete my sql database......and shame on me, I have no backup for this. However I do download all the files in my shop now and then, and have a recent download of these.

Is there possible to restore my database just using these files?

I am really hoping someone says yes, but I have the feeling that I have messed up big time here.

the database isnt part of the fileset.
you may need to contact your host and see if by chance they have a current backup
they may charge you to restore it

Hello, lizbet ... that's too bad. Have you ever taken a backup using the backup pluin at all? If you have, you should have a file in your admin/backups directory. If not, contact your web host and see if they have taken a volume backup and could restore it for you.

Sorry, the files do not have any of the database info in them.

Oops, that's what happens when you go away to answer the phone before hitting post...

A good host should do regular backups for emergency protection.
