help question Editing Existing Tables with CSS

I have created a couple of tables within an EZ page. A simple price list, to be precise. I created the tables with their generic settings, thinking that I could edit the tables once I have entered the necessary inputs and then do the cosmetics etc, later. However, Zen Cart will not allow me to edit tables in the HTML editor (as far as I can see), only create them.

To which I'm happy to resort to CSS manipulation. Therefore, my question is, how can I remove the borders, spacing and padding in my tables using CSS? A screen shot of my FF Developers Element Info is attached. Any assistance is much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rob

    admin/Tools/Ez Pages...

Select the page you want to edit and click the little green Edit button. There you'll see the code you originally entered to make the content of your EZ Page. Edit it to remove the hard-coded settings and instead add class names to the table, to each tr and to each td tag. Take note of the class names and add them to the bottom of your stylesheet and style away.

    P.S.
Is that a footy field in the background of your avatar?

    Thanks Rob,
All makes sense and way to go. Many thanks for the quick response.
    Cheers,
    Rob.

PS: No, not a footy ground exactly. My avatar is dedicated to an all time Aussie cricket legend, Richie Benaud: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richie_Benaud

Ah yes, cricket. That's that game they play in the footy off-season, isn't it? ;-) Kind of messes up the middle of the playing field though.

Yes that's right. It's our national summer sport. Maybe not as exiting as say other sports, such as ice hockey, but we all enjoy our cricket 'down under',when it's on, very much. Once again thanks for the advice on the tables they're working out just great.
