Product display order

Hello Zenners. I need a bit of help. When customers view my product list in the different categories, I need it to be sorted based on the model number. Also, in one category, I would like it sorted in reverse order based on the model number. Any help accomplishing this is great.

Put the model number in the sort order field at the bottom of the product entry screen to get the products sorted by model number.

Not sure how you'd get them in reverse order in one category, but you could play around with that value in that category. For instance, don't use the model number but put another value in the sort order to get the desired result.

Thanks for the response. However I don't think this is going to do what I want. What I'm really after is how can i get it to display my products with the newest additions listed first.

That's not what you asked. Products are displayed based on the sort order. I don't know if there's a way to change that.
