Did you take time to use this tool to hunt down your problem..

1. search for shopping_cart
2. bottom left hand side
3. This will reveal most of the files associated with the shopping cart.
4. Winmerge is a use free program to compare what is on your server and find the fresh install .php file to see what changes you might have.

There is a lot of code that could be affecting this ...

You definitely have something customized or a bad file etc. that is causing this issue to happen ...

I have tried fudging some code on my site, but I cannot reproduce your errors ...

The easiest method to find the problem is to compare your code on your site against the original code ...

For this, I like Beyond Compare from scootersoftware.com that lets me do an FTP compare of files on my computer to those on my server ...

I'm going to go ahead and try that out Ajeh. Thanks for your suggestions! I've actually been looking for a program such as that, because I have WinMerge and its kinda a pain to use - you have to always download the files on the computer first, rename them and then compare.

I'll post the results if I'm able to figure it out.

NOTE: in the olden days, you had to have the purchased version for the FTP ... I am not sure how they do it now ... but it is for sure worth it ...
