Hi all,

Help needed - here is the deal... I'm trying to plan an upgrade from 1.3.0.1 to 1.3.8a. There have been many changes done without overrides.... basically the process will probably take quite a while, so I will have to work on all the changes on my local test server before we can launch the new site (we'll probably switch hosts too while we're at it, but that's a different story).

Problem is - while I work on the new version, the live store will still be running, new customers signing up, new orders made, etc.

So, even if I upgrade the database when I install 1.3.8a, then by the time it's ready to go live, I'll need to import new data into the db.

My question, then - is there a major difference in db structure that would prevent me from doing so? Any specific tables that I need to look out for? Especially customers and orders, that one will probably be the major problem, but I'd appreciate any advice in general...
