Default Lost my CSS styling.....website looks 1997-ish! Help.

Thanks for hearing my problem guys.

I have zen cart 1.3.8 on bluehost server.

    I have never upgraded.

I recently changed my primary domain name from njssupermarket.net to tracksupermarket.com

I then moved my zen cart/catalog files from http public/catalog/store to the root public folder, so that customers could just type tracksupermarket.com and not have to type com/catalog/store/index.php

Anyway, I moved the files, then edited my configure files in both admin/includes and includes, and now I cannot see any styling/template.
My website looks basic, like it is 1997 all over again.

    The site is tracksupermarket.com

I assume it has something to do with my editing of the configure files, but really, I have no idea.
I have searched for 2 days now....this is stressing me out. I hope someone can help.

    Thanks guys!

Your server is giving a 403-Forbidden message when serving the stylesheet: http://www.tracksupermarket.com/incl...stylesheet.css

Thanks for the super quick reply, Doc.

I just checked out that link, and I have already tried to rename those htaccess files,
but it did not seem to do anything.
My website is still trapped in the 1990's.

Then you'll have to work with your hosting company to figure out what's causing the 403-Forbidden condition when accessing your stylesheets and images, or alternate ways to rename the .htaccess files, or different content for inside them based on the server's configuration.

I tried to delete those htaccess files too, but that did not work either.

Ok to DrByte and anyone having similar problems...here is the solution.

    Pretty simple in the end.

Just needed to change permissions. They were a bit of a mess.

Bluehost tech told me that they only really like 755 for folders, and 644 for files.

I changed the permissions to reflect these numbers, and everything is back to normal.

    Feels good! :0

It seems odd that you would have set other permissions on those files in the first place.
Glad you got it sorted out.
