Freeshipper works for ot_shipping at $35 but not over!

Searched all the forums/FAQs...has anyone seen a problem with freeshipper not working over a certain dollar amount? Works fine when the ot_shipping is set to $30. Set it to $35, and all the shipping options re-appear. Last night, the magic number was $45! Help! I would like to set the threshold at $75, and have run out of things to review/try/test!

Running: Zen Cart v1.3.7.1

What addons have you installed? When?
- Paypal IPN
- Authorize.net (AIM)
- SEO URLs
- USPS
- UPS

In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?
- Highly customized templates, developers neglected override system, upgrades very difficult.

WHEN did the problem "start"?
- Recently installed/configured SSL cert, Paypal and Auth.net... SSL errors due to temporary development domain name and cert domain name missmatch.

The Free Shipping freeshipper shipping module is triggered by 0 weight and Always Free Shipping orders ... and is for Everyone, meaning that all Zones get Free Shipping when this is triggered ...

NOTE: the Zone setting is included for advanced coders for ease of use in customizations ...


The Free Shipping Options freeoptions shipping module is triggered by settings on the Total, Item Count or Weight ...


The Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping ... Free Shipping on orders over XX.XX amount does not use a shipping module to manage this ...


Currently, I did not get Free Shipping of any kind when I added $100.00 worth of products to the cart so I am not sure your current settings or if you have a Zone set on the Order Totals module Shipping ot_shipping or if you have turned it off ...

NOTE: you have a really old version of Zen Cart and should really consider upgrading soon ...

Good morning all- after much trial/error, I still have a challenge with shipping:

- Downloadable product only … free shipping is triggered, still displays checkout_shipping
- Physical product … free shipping is not triggered if order_total >= $75.00

My objectives are…

3 types of Orders
- Physical/shippable product
- Downloadable product
- Physical and downloadable products in one order

2 Zones
- Continental US (used for shipping rules)
- IL (“home” state used for applying sales tax)

Shipping Rules
- Order Total <= $75 … orders shipped via USPS or UPS (everywhere)
- Order Total >=$75 … orders are free shipping within Zone=Continental US

Downloads
- configured with attributes to select physical product or downloadable product
- uses “freeshipper” keyed off of 0 weight to trigger free shipping

Current Admin Settings/Situation …

Configuration > Shipping/Packaging > Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status = 1 (true)
(turned on to trigger “freeshipper” downloadable order)

Modules > Order Total Modules > Shipping (ot_shipping)
- Module Installed = true
- Sort Order = 300
- Allow Free Shipping = true
- Free Shipping for Orders Over = $75.00
- Provide Free Shipping for Orders Made = both

Modules > Shipping Modules > FREE SHIPPING! (freeshipper)
- Enable Free Shipping = True
- Free Shipping Cost = 0.00
- Handling Fee = 0
- Tax Class = Non-Taxable Goods
- Shipping Zone = -- none -- (not used anyway)
- Sort Order = 1

Modules > Shipping Modules > Free Shipping Options (freeoptions) is not installed

UPS and USPS are enabled and seem to be working fine.

Questions
- Is the configuration approach for Downloads correctly (i.e. attributes, trigger off 0 weight)

Bonus
Is it possible to use “freeshipper” at the same time as “freeoptions” to offer customers shipping options in addition to free shipping (for example, they want to pay for a faster shipping method)? Or perhaps use “freeoptions” without “freeshipper”

Downloads should never show the checkout_shipping page ...

NOTE: you have an error with your secure certificate ...

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
www.fiber wild.com , fiber wild.com

This means it is not valid with your hyphenated domain name ...

Good morning Ajeh, I appreciate the help! Re: the cert, I am using a temp domain name (fiber-wild) until I launch...my existing informational site (fiberwild) will be replaced with the zen site, and the problem with the cert will go away...I can't imagine this is causing any of the shipping challenges?

As far as the shipping, the downloads should never show the checkout_shipping, this is one of my challenges (also appears to be the same as Udos (see other thread)). Can I send you a PM with some additional information?

Again, I appreciate the help, this is the last obstacle prior to launching the site!

I just wanted you to be aware of the problem with the secure certificate as many click accept it ... then forget they did that, and never remember to fix it ...
