Default Newbie Question: Editing Stylesheet in Dreamweaver CS3?

I have Zen cart 1.38 ... I am so sorry if this question has been asked before but I searched the forums abd could not find it.

I am more of a graphic designer & artist. So, I have basic knowledge of websites but not code or CSS. I have Dreamweaver CS3 and was wondering why, when I open a stylesheet.css than I cannot preview it and edit it in the Live View WYSIWYG frame (or at least I coannot figure out how to get to it)? Am I missing something? Usually when I create a simple web page with dreamweaver, it gives me the bility to see the CSS coding AND the live editable preview of the page. How can i achieve the same with stylesheet.css?

    Thank you

enCart is not "a simple web page" nor is it html which DW is mainly designed to work with.... The pages do not exist as html but are assembled server side from many pieces.

Check the tutorials here on this site

styleseet.css controls almost all zencart layout . that mean , header , footer, sideboxes and main area .
as kobra mentioned zc is dynamic so DW is not suited for styling dynamic pages.
one dirty trick i used, after installing zc , i enabled all side boxes. then launched zc in browser . saved the source from view source tool bar of browser with html extension ..

now you have single page with everything zc has to offer ..
remove all reference to stylesheet from header .
use DW to add external stylesheet to the page .( zc stylesheet.css )

once done, you can start modifying your page and saving all edited style to linked stylesheet.

nothing is 100% , but hey..
