Content Management

Hi All,

I am just creating my second zen cart this one is vs 138a, I would like to know if anyone has any information for a content management system & or Forum which is suitable for zen cart so that it has the same template etc.
I had a look at the add ons but could not see anything which would do the job.
I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction with these features.

EZPages, and ezpage TOC, can be used to make ZenCart a CM within reason

Kobra is right. My nephew's site (see my sig) is Zen Cart without the cart part.

I have the possibility of using PHP BB2 or 3 for the forum and I supposes I can re-install zen at this early stage and then link it to the location on the server would that be easier?

Also have in the elefante installer (free with the hosting) many a content management systems to choose from, I do however want it to be part of the site "so to speak same template" So I guess I am left with the EZ pages, I did think about that and perhaps seeing if I can echo it rather than link to it....Not sure about this..

Is there any FAQ or instructions on what I am trying to do...

What are you full eventual intentions?
If just trying to provide an informational site with how to's etc ZenCart as a CM can be used. I more involved with many needing edit access a full CM might be the better choice...
Just as for ZenCart, It is not recommended to use any of the auto installers for a long term install - -they are OK for evaluation.

phpbb can be set up post ZenCart install and you just edit the configure.php file to enable a link on the cart

My intentions are, to have a shopping cart with lots of goodies set up on the front (similar to the Colour Shield site I already own) however for people to be able to write short stories, so i think that a content management out of this lot should do (pls advise if you know any of them) http://www.elefanteinstaller.com/ there after to link to it or customise its template to look like mine.

Not sure what code you add to configure.php to let it spot phpbb

& also I am not 100% sure on what you mean about auto installers? This is not to do with the zen cart install is it?
