    Hi Sushigal,

Each addon has an its own Installation documentation, usually in the form of a file called INSTALL.txt or README.txt.

If you are talking specifically about Numinix, then the file is called, "documentation.html". Open this file and there is a section to explain to you how to install this add-on.

Hi thanks for your reply however, all that the read_me.txt says is; 'Update: if you don't want this sidebox to show on the home page - use the file named category_list_box.php_no_index_page - just change the name to category_list_box.php' which doesn't tell me what to do at all. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sushigal

P.s I'm using version 1.3.8a and the addon says:

This old mod has the subcategories appear underneath the category no matter what page you are on. Cleaned up and 1.3.7 ready. Also included is a extra file in case you don't want this sidebox appearing on the home page.

So will it not work as its for an older version of zen?

    Hi Sushigal,

Your right, I downloaded the "Category Listing Box" Add-on and there aren't any installation instructions.

To install this Add-on, you just need to upload the files to the /includes/ folder on your site. There are a few folders called YOUR_TEMPLATE where you need to replace "YOUR_TEMPLATE" with the folder name of your template.

    * Note that whenever you install a module, you want to make sure that you aren't over-writing any of your custom changes to your store.

Once you have upload these files, the Add-on will be installed and you can turn it on from Admin->Layout Boxes Controller.

its ok, I found it, it was admin>tools>layout boxes controller but I can't see one for the module I just uploaded. I'm looking for category_list_box.php but its not there.

Was I right in doing the following:

I downloaded the file, unzipped it and a folder called 'category_list_box1' popped up containing a folder called 'category_list_box' I put this folder into zencart/includes and then renamed any folders that were called YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME to 'classic' because that's the template im using (I think)

Of anyone can help, I will be most greatful!
