Backing up.

I have a message to clean admin activity log, it asks me to back up my database before i hit the reset button.

Can anyone tell me which files i need to back up and how to do it.

Its recommended that you make a backup of your entire zen cart database. Although it isn't very likely that you would experience a problem while cleaning the admin activity, in any database update it is better to be safe than sorry and have a full backup of your dB.

Don't make the mistake tons of us have made before and not have a current backup , cause bad stuff always seems to happen at some point in time.

No, the website files are a separate entity to the database.

You can back up the database either using the Export feature in phpMyAdmin like so:

Or by using an add-on:
