Sorry in advance if this title is not aptly named for what I'm looking for here. Also, I've searched the forums for something similar to what my client is trying to have me do, however I've come up dry. Hopefully I posted this in the right forum...hehe.

Basically, they have a store which is selling makeup. They want to have friends and family who live elsewhere to be able to do some sales as well - all from my client's inventory. Therefore, my clients wish to have some sort of system where that when someone (customer) goes to their site, and either clicks on something within the cart that tells my client who sent the customer there so that the person can get credit for the sale.

If I'm not making sense, I will gladly elaborate...heh.

What I was thinking, is maybe there would be a way to assign their sellers a discount coupon code #, and when the customer is going through checkout, have them enter that so that when my client reviews the invoice they know who to give credit to.

I really don't have much of an idea how the discount area of ZC works, and am also unsure if I am simply making this tougher on everyone involved.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to streamline this process?
