New line or Add a Space in CSS Shipping Estimator

I can be a bit picky over those little glitches...

Personally, I do not like the popup shipping estimator.. I rewrote the checkout to include the postage rate, and I believe I have seen someone else release a MOD to do that.. may be you'll want to look into that at some point...

The glitch still bothers me though! hahaha

I'd hedge my bets that it's something to do with the Easy Sign Up mod I installed lately. That one made major changes and I has 23 files which had to be merged. It must have something to do with that.

Now that you mention it, I remember there might be an area in Admin where you can switch off the Shipping Popup so that shipping options are displayed as a table?

I used to have it like that but if I remember right it was acting buggy and I switched the popup handler back on again. This was months ago.

I know what you mean about being picky. I bet you've been called a perfectionist a few times in the past? I'm like that myself, can get a little obsessed about the little things that no one else even notices :-)

Yes, found it:

Admin/Configuration/Shipping/Packaging/Shipping Estimator Display Settings for Shopping Cart/2= Display as Listing on Shopping Cart Page

This has switched the popup off completely and now the customer will not see the shipping options until the final stage of checkout.

I like it like that. Don't you?

With reference to my earlier post... I should have said I modified the shopping cart page, to include the postage costs, rather than have a popup... but I only give the customer one choice of shipping, so it was easy to include in the sub totals of the shopping cart.

Some customers may wish to see the postage cost before they procede to checkout... and can be shown below the shopping cart.
