Problem with Tax calculation

Thanks for the speedy reply.
Yes the orders total has been enabled.
Configuration 'show taxes' are both set to false.
I have tried changing to true but it still didn't work.
If you have ant other suggestion it would be welcome

Ok Found that if I change the basis of product tax and shipping tax to shipping rather than store it works ok.
Does anyone know why this is not working if the basis is set to store?

Do you have set a zone for your store (Admin > Configuration > My Store)? If so, is it within one of your tax zones?

Yes the zone is west midlands in (admin > config> myStore)

It appears to be working now with this
Display Prices with Tax false
Display Prices with Tax in Admin false
Basis of Product Tax Shipping
Basis of Shipping Tax Store
I was trying to set basis of product tax shipping to store and basis of shipping tax store and it didn't work.

I'm new to Zen cart and I'm running into the same issue. I even changed the Basis of Product and Shipping Tax to Shipping but no luck. I have an attachment of what I am getting. Any help will do. I'm using the latest build.
