Found what I want, now how do I get it?

I have searched up and down and have read through many, many threads with this same topic. I have come across similar questions and requirements that I am looking for but no difinitive answers. Doing a google search, I actually found a zencart store that is doing exactly what I want to do, so I know it's possible.

I sell similar items and want to do the same thing, where an area is for subscribers only but regular customers can still purchase the same items. It looks like it's all automatic, once you buy the membership, you get instant access and once the membership expires, it moves customer status back automatically.

I guess my question would be is this an existing mod that is being used or what would I need to do to accomplish this?

LOL! Marvin and I have some personality traits in common.

You could contact the owners of the website and ask how they accomplished the subscribers/general public stuff.

Of course, someone else on the forum may know something about this that we don't (like where it came from), so don't give up hope just yet. Give it a bit and see if anyone can shed more light on it. It is pretty nifty.
