problem with coupon admin

a while back i had a 5% off sale but after it ended i deleted it from the coupon admin. was thinking of doing another 5% off sale and since im using the same code i get an error saying the coupon still exists.. anyone know how to fix that?

ive already tried to use the code during a test order and it says its no longer valid.

While Deleted, the coupon is still in the database and marked to not be available ...

If you don't have to use the same code, just make a new one ...

If you absolutely have to use the same code, which prevents tracking of old code vs new code usage, you will need to edit the coupons table and change the field coupon_active to Y and edit the data on it ...
