Database issue

Hi,

I have succesfuly installed zencart 1.3.8a. recently i installed it and created a database using cpanel but zencart installation didnt work at end.

Now in my fresh installation i used previously created database. My question is it safe to do previosuly used database, has it messed up or overwrite database? or if it isnt safe how do i link newly created DB to my curent zencart?

P.S. there wasnt anything in database just created as required for installation purpose.

If you run the install it must find the DB to complete..

Are you not running zc_install??
