hi all, i would like to ask when my customer select free shipping product how to display free shipping option only for them to choose, but not all option ,and vice versa
no one reply?
You need to really be more specific ...
What shipping methods are you currently using?
What makes the Product Free Shipping?
Can you clarify, by example, what it is you want the customer to see in regard to shipping?

i select a few stuffs free shipping for promotion, for instant a memory stick.once my customer buy this then check out, in payment method there should be several methods for them to choose from, like flat rate, per item rate and free shipping as well.so i want free shipping method check box display only to the customer who buy free shipping item but not all methods.

This can be done ... but you need to have a criteria ...
You say Flat Rate, Item Rate and Free Shipping Option ... but that does not make a lot of sense ...
You need to define are you shipping on a Flat Rate of $5.00 for everything with an Option for Free Shipping ... or are you charging an Item Rate for everything with an Option for Free Shipping ...
Or are you doing something else?
Is the Free Option always available or just for some Products?
If the Free Option is available for just some Products, what is the criteria for determining which Products?
First decide how you want to do your regular shipping for your regular Products ...
Then, there can be a way to work out the Free Shipping whether that is for everything or just some things ...

the Free Option is available for just some Products only, i select
"Yes, Always Free Shipping" check box in product info page in admin panel, so when customer buy this free shipping product only(not combining with other product), it really make sence in check out page shipping mehod display free shipping check box only to them.
If you set up your Products where Always Free Shipping means Free Shipping for Everyone ...
Then just install the Free Shipping freeshipper module and your regular shipping modules ...
What this will do is when ONLY the Free Shipping products are in the cart, the Free Shipping freeshipper module will show and all other shipping modules will disappear ...
When there is 1 or more regular Products in the cart, the Free Shipping freeshipper module will disappear and all other shipping modules will show but the Free Shipping Products will still be Free shipping and not be included in the weight or the item count or the total of the order when the shipping price is computed ...

I am guessing that your Add On shipping module is not using the code to manage this feature ...
If you look at one of the core shipping modules, such as Flat Rate flat you will see how the $this->enabled is controlled ...
Example:
If you were to add that IF around the $this->enabled for your shipping module then it would work ...Code:// disable only when entire cart is free shipping if (zen_get_shipping_enabled($this->code)) { $this->enabled = ((MODULE_SHIPPING_FLAT_STATUS == 'True') ? true : false); }
Keep in mind, some do like to pick an alternative to Free Shipping as they are in a hurry ...![]()
