Removing Shipping Altogether?

For the store I have, the shipping is free on all the items, so I just need a way to completely remove the "Shipping Method" but can't figure out how to do this, it always requires it. The best way I did it was to put "0.00" in flat rate, but it seems really repetitive to even mention that, a waste of space.

Also is there anyway not to have 3 steps in the check-out page and just have it all one on page?

Set each product currently in your catalog as Yes, Always Free Shipping ... do this either by editing each product, or run this query from Admin > Tools > Install SQL Patches:

 update products set product_is_always_free_shipping = 1 where products_id > 0;

Then go to Admin > Catalog > Product Types, click the Edit Layout button for the Product-General type, and set Product Free Shipping Default Status - Normal Shipping Rules - When adding new products to Yes, Always Free Shipping ON

That way any new product you enter will also be set to free shipping.

Finally, turn on the FREE SHIPPING! module, and turn off/remove all other shipping modules. The shipping page in the checkout process should now be skipped entirely.

Or can I add text like shipping is free for local order only next to the radio button under the delivery information page and under the confirmation page for shipping information?
