Help please!! Stock size quantity..

Totally new to this, but learning all the time hopefully. We sell flip flops, so have various sizes. We need to somehow set up an attribute whereby it will allow us to enter particular sizes under each item and if and when we sell out of a particular size, that it tells the customer that.

At the moment, after one failed attempt, we have to manually edit our quantities.

PS: although our site is live, we know the home page needs serious tweaking!! It's in hand, I hope.

I have seen previously on the forums a note about using a mod "stock by attributes" that may help you..
