Offline card processing

Hi and big up the zen cart crew!Offline card processing - for debit, ie switch, maestro cards I need the issue number but this field is not displayed.zen cart version 1.3.8a, site not yet live.

The standard ZC offline module may not offer this.

You may care to look at Conor Kerr's offline module:

I have heard that it is more comprehensive than the standard ZC module.

In the UK, under the provisions of the Data Protection Act, you cannot store credit card details on a shared server.

You cannot use an EPOS Terminal to process online card transactions, it's against the rules of the card companies. They can revoke your account, take your EPOS Terminal away and blacklist you forever and a day.

The solution is to get an Internet Merchant ID and use a payment processor like Protx (now called SagePay), or SecPay (now called Pay Point), or else use an offsite payment processor like Pay Pal. In each case you don't store the card details.
