Jrox affiliate program install

I’m in need of a little advice,

I purchased an affiliate program from jrox but after many hours of trying to install it successfully I have now decided to ask jrox to install it for me as they only charge $125 to install it and integrate it,

My question is about safety,

I have to give them the following:

• FTP Server
• FTP Username
• FTP Password

As well as MySQL database log in;

• MySQL server
• MySQL database name
• MySQL username
• MySQL password

Shall I create a new ftp user for them to use or shall I give them the main ftp details, I suppose what I’m trying to say is if it were you how would you go about letting them do it and would you feel confident in letting them have control, I don’t really know much about the company so any advice on this would be a big help,

I have already brought and paid for the programme so there’s no going back!!

You can (or should be able to) create new users both for FTP and the database, then delete those users when they're done.

I haven't used that mod, but it's been around a while, and I'd be inclined to trust them.

Well I must say JROX were great, they installed the programme for me and so far so good, all I have to do now is configure my settings then I’ll be done,

I was messing around for over a week trying to install it but they managed to do for me in no time at all so any body who’s having trouble I would strongly advise you to let them do it for you, money well spent in my book,

Hi, I also wanna ask JROX to install for me. But if I deleted the new database user, will the database still accessible? Also, does JROX database user need to be the same as the user for zen-cart?

Also, did anyone know the difference between JAM installation and JAM integration. Does JAM integration installation a complicated task? Should I ask for a integration installation instead of just the software installation. I have to mentioned that I almost know nothing about LINUX.

As long as you keep your original database user details the same, you will have no problems with deleting the temporary user. I think the username doesn't matter as long as they do the right things to the database.

For the integration question, you need someone with JROX experience to answer.

Installation is when they install the program for you and integration is when they integrate the software to work with your site,

Jrox do installation and they will also do the integration and customization for you, I can’t remember how much it all cost but I do remember paying it over there monthly payments,

I have used JROX for a couple of years and have installed it on some clients sites. Everyone including myself are happy with it.

It is the most cost effective solution on the internet in my opinion.

One time purchase and you can host as many affiliate programs that you want on it.

So if you have multiple products, or you want to host other websites affiliate programs you can do so.


I have actually had it connected through my Zen Cart for the same amount of time. That was my first install of JROX.
