Per Unit Shipping Module Configuration Question

Hi....

Recently I set up the Per Item shipping module..or at least thought I had! When I went in to check, no items in the cart ever display the Per Unit shipping when listing shipping options.

I did everything i thought had to be done....

I enabled the module, set the shipping cost to 1, handling fee to 0, Tax Class to "NoTax", Tax Basis to shipping, Shipping zone to 'Continental US.'

Additionally, I set up 'NoTax' as a new tax class, with a rate defined as 0%. (I had formerly had it set as -none-, but thought this might have been the problem....seemed not to fix anything.)

The Continental US zone was defined, with a green status circle showing its set up right.

The Status circle for the per Item module is yellow, and not green. So, besides the fact that the shipping option does not appear with other options, I thought something was probably not right.

I set up the Continental US zone, but now can't recall how I selected each state. (Does this matter? The green circle suggests this isn't the issue!)

Still no solution!

I removed the perweightunit shipping module, then re-installed it.

Upon re-installation, the status circle was lit GREEN.

But...once I again set the zone to my 'Continental US' definition (from the default of 'none'), and updated, the status again went to yellow.

Why could this be happening?

The Continental US zone appears to be fully configured, and has a green circle when I go in and check in admin.

Any ideas???

UPDATE:

Leaving out the zone, the module works, and item listings display the perweightunit shipping as an option.

BUT--with ANY zone defined in the module, it stops appearing as an option, and the yellow status circle again returns.

Make sure that you have fully defined your Zone definition or the shipping module will not show ...

Ajeh, I also have this problem. Yellow circle next to Shipping per unit. I set it up for the Zone Australia and I have created Australia in Zone Definitions so I don't know why I'm still getting the dreaded yellow circle. Can you think of another reason? Jen

The yellow circle indicates you are using a Zone to alert you that there is a filter on it ... this is meant to be yellow ... remove the Zone and it goes green ... put back a Zone Definition and it goes yellow ...
