Cart showing wrong weight

I'm using zencart version Zen Cart 1.3.8a. While this isn't the first time using zencart, I'm far from being overly confident in my ability to diagnose problems. Here's my dilemma:

I set up a product with a weight of 1.5 llbs and it is displayed as such in the catalog section. But when you go to check out, the shipping shows that it's computing it's value as "(1 X 4.5llbs)."

I don't understand where the extra "weight" is coming from and I'm wondering if someone could shed some light on it for me.

I found the answer as soon as I posted my thread thanks to the "similar" threads listed at the bottom. I adjusted my TARE settings and "POOF!" Problem solved.
