    Default Site lossed have database backup though

    So i lost all the files to my site BUT i was lucky enough to have a backup of the database and my template

    so i have reinstalled zencart, copied the template and have that working

    im trying to restore the database through phpmyadmin but i cant seem to get it to work

    what steps do i need to do to restore the database?

    i tried through phpmyadmin like the above link says, and it doesnt seem to work might be as my database is around 2.5mb....

    please elaborate on Not working part .. what errors do you get if any ..

    dose your original ( back up ) use table prefixes ? what about new database tables ??

    i will try again tommorrow when i am at work, though the page just comes up blank, get a big list of red errors or it gives some other error ( will post them here when i retry it)

    No prefix on the tables.

    Create a new database..... Then paste your dump incrementally in the SQL tab for larger databases.

    Be certain to grab it in parts ending with a ;

    found an easy way to do it using navicat.
