I look after single zencart site on and off . and lately decided to modify this site and reinstall it .
this site is been operating as catalog only and no sales , but that will change soon .
current site has a large number of products .. most products are related in Image , Description .
so i like to use , top level category or sub cat Description and zencart will display products in that cat / sub cat as listing . however , I need to change the behavior of listing when there is description in top level cat / sub cat .. by removing image and Links from listing .

HOWEVER , if there are no description in top level , i need to show default zencart listing . ( image , links to product info page )

it should be fairly easy to duplicate the code in product_listing .php but how i can test to see if there is description in top level cat / sub cat is kinda unknown to me .

any pointer would be great .
