I have been using Zen Cart for 3 months now providing software downloads to customers without any problems. We have recently come out with some updated versions of software and want to notify customers who have purchased the software about the updates. Logically we would use the Product Notification Manager to do so. After creating a new product notification in both HTML and Text format, I go to send the notification out to all of my customers. After selecting any number of different products (or a global product notification) to send customers my product update to, then clicking submit, I receive the following message:
Customers receiving this Product Notification: 0
This is strange because I know that there are hundreds of customers who have purchased products from my store, yet Zen Cart Product Update is not recognizing this. The newsletter email feature seems to work fine though.
I suspect that the problem is something with the Zen Cart PHP code not reading data correctly from my database, but I can't be sure.
I am using the latest version of Zen Cart, and my host is Bluehost. I have a quickbooks and google analytics update installed.
I would really like to use this feature to update my customers on new software updates, but it does not seem to be working.
Any Ideas?
